Hidden Worlds – Insiders/Outsiders
Tischenko Gallery in Helsinki presents an exhibition dedicated to Western esoteric and mystical art, featuring works created from the 1940s to the present day. On display are pieces by seven artists who translated visions, intuitions, and spiritual experiences into drawings, paintings, and music, often without preliminary planning, working on the fringes of the official art world.
Among the artists: Aleksandra Ionowa, K. Tschährä, Madge Gill, Julia Oak, Clara Schuff, Viktor Emanuel Bickel, and Narciso Bressanello. The works come from a private collection.
The exhibition is dedicated to the memory of Selma Mäkelä.
