New Polar Sound Presents: “PAIRIDAEZA” OGNI & ABARIS MOERAE

The Winter Garden (Talvipuutarha) has been a green oasis open to all since 1893. This serene space will host an afternoon of dark, atmospheric music presented by New Polar Sound, a Helsinki-based experimental avant-garde record label and movement, born from the collaboration between Andrey Tischenko and Manuele Frau.

Abaris Moerae is the solo project of Nicholas Pucciarelli (Nona et Decima, Mortar Devotions, Vitriol Crops). His debut album, The Choir of Few, was released on New Polar Sound in November 2022. His live sets blend guitar loops and layers, shifting between dark ambient and emotional landscapes.

OGNI is the solo project of Aleksei Tsernjavski (Mortar Devotions, Top Jugend 90). His live set crafts tense, esoteric ambient soundscapes among the garden’s imprisoned plants. He is the owner of Sumrak record label which released his debut album “Tainted in a Sensitive Age” in 2021. He hosts also a show on IDA Radio Helsinki, exploring “vinyl records in dust, glowing candles in the dark… dismal tunes to touch your lost heart.”
